It is a time-worn tradition of the Triduum (the one service containing three liturgies which include Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter) to hold vigil in prayer for an hour over night, keeping company with the suffering Christ. The church will be open for the vigil from Thursday evening at 8PM through Friday morning 9AM. The church will remain open on Friday for those who wish to come pray the Stations of the Cross, or simply be with God in sacred space.
In light of the current pandemic, we are following Diocesan safety guidelines during these times of prayer. Please wear a mask at all times in the building. (Masks are available in the narthex.) Please bring and use your own Bible, Book of Common Prayer or any other reading/prayer materials you wish to have. Please come alone or only with one other person, only two people may be in the building at the same time. If any two people do not already live together or consider themselves a ‘pod’, we ask that you please sit on opposite sides of the church or at least six feet apart.
